The technology of a Steel Production Board is hard to see with the naked eye. The difference in material, the precise squareness of the cut edge, and the difference in flatness controlled to the millimeter are not obvious when you look at a new product alone. But the longer a board is used under strong vibration and repeated load over the years, the more those once-invisible small differences show up as differences in production stability, durability and service life.
Samjung regards every factor that creates these differences as part of Steel Production Board technology.
Based on the experience and data accumulated over decades at concrete block production sites around the world, we have researched and developed materials specialized for Steel Production Boards together with POSCO and Hyundai Steel. Through machining technologies including precision cutting and multi-stage Roll-Waving, we control residual stress and deformation to achieve a high level of squareness and flatness.
Stable vibration that starts with precise flatness
When steel is cut by plasma or laser, the residual stress in the material changes and the heat affects it, which can change flatness. Samjung takes these characteristics of steel into account, precisely controlling the deformation that occurs during machining to achieve stable flatness.

4-Stage Flatness & Stress Control Solution
To secure flatness, a leveling process suited to the production process is applied. Residual stress in both the length and width directions is precisely controlled, flatness is measured in real time using triangulation, and the inspection information for every Steel Production Board is provided as a Mill Sheet.

Yes. Even if you currently use wooden, plastic, or composite production pallets, our lightweight steel mold base, MetaBoard, can be used with your existing equipment.
If your equipment allows height adjustments, you can also switch to a conventional steel mold base thickness. We recommend the appropriate thickness based on your maximum product weight, the product range you plan to manufacture over the next 10 years, and your equipment specifications.
The width and length must match your machine model’s specifications, while the thickness can be adjusted to suit your intended product range and equipment requirements.
Thickness can be increased or decreased in 0.5 mm increments. Thicker specifications are also available, provided they remain within your production line’s load capacity. Let us know your preferred dimensions, and we will review your equipment requirements and production plans to recommend suitable specifications.
